On Sept. 12, USCIS set forth new policy guidance for us to follow when determining eligibility for extraordinary ability (E11) and outstanding professor or researcher (E12).  The new guidance is effective immediately and set forth in Volume 6 of the Policy Manual.  In short, as you might expect, the guidance focuses on STEM fields, but it also clarifies how officers evaluate the totality of the evidence submitted.  If you have any questions about the new guidelines, feel free to contact me.
